it’s halloween: #18 - The Wolf Man (1941)

Even a man who is pure in heart and says his prayers by night, may become a wolf when the wolfbane blooms and the autumn moon is bright.

Kurt Cobain had Irish ancestors [mother and father] and a strong connection with Ireland.
In July 1993, during an interview for a North American magazine, Cobain talked about his Irish roots and how he felt about the Emerald Isle.
“Kurt Cobain:. I had never really researched about my ancestors until this year, when I discovered that my name ‘Cobain’ was Irish My parents had never cared about that sort of thing I found looking phone books by the United States seeking. by surnames that were similar to mine. I was unable to find any Cobain and so I decided to contact the ‘Coburns’. was there that I found this lady in San Francisco who was dedicated to researching our family history for years .
Interviewer: So it was Coburn ?
Cobain: Actually it was Cobain, but the Coburns screwed it up when they came to America. They originally departed from Cork (which is next to Dublin), which is a strange coincidence, because when we were touring Ireland, County Cork we played and I spent the whole day walking around in awe of the place. I never felt so spiritually connected in my life. It was the weirdest feeling and I have a friend who could testify to that, I spent almost the entire day in tears. Since that tour, which was about two years ago, I had the feeling that I was from Ireland.
